OUR HERNIA SURGERY PROCESS
STEP 1
Fill out and submit your Pre-Op Questionnaire.
STEP 2
Shortly after we receive your questionnaire, our staff will contact you and review your medical history in detail.
STEP 3
You will speak with the hernia surgeon prior to scheduling your hernia operation. We don’t schedule a hernia surgery until all of your questions have been answered.
STEP 4
Depending on your age and health condition, we may ask you to see your primary care doctor before hernia surgery for an examination (and, if indicated, an electrocardiogram and bloodwork) prior to your hernia operation.
STEP 5
If you decide that you want us to schedule your hernia surgery, we require a $75 deposit. You will have a full physical examination on a Wednesday and have your hernia surgery performed the following day. If you want to be evaluated, but don’t want the hernia surgery the next day, you may pay the $75 at the time of your office visit.
